PunkAttitude is a video I actually liked and thought was pretty good. I thought that I would not like it and that it would be boring and crap, but the more I watch the video and learn about the history of Punk and how it became what it is today the more I like it. I liked the beginning when the narrater said that groups started out in their garage and got heard by doing gigs in smalll places or clubs. Most people get their start there. Producers are more than likely going to be at a club having a good time or just looking for new talent to sign. I think that it also shows initative, that they have guts to do half the things that they do or wear. The part were some of the narrators talked about how with punk a person just expressed themselves and did whatever they wanted and not cared. I liked that part. I think it showed just how much diffrent and wild people and music could be. Musicians were smashing their instruments on the stage, screaming into the microphone and just saying anything that comes to mind. In those times people who were doing r&b, blues, hip hop, rap, soul or even country did not slam their intrutments on the stage or start screaming into the mic. They had serene music that may have been a little upbeat, but not get a "get you rallyed and crazy" type beat. It proves that Punk was a way to exopress yourself and feel better.
